Current Opportunities for Involvement
The WIC Technical Assistance and Peer Coaching Center (TAPC) is looking for professionals, community members, and agencies to help us redefine the WIC experience. We are seeking Coaches and Subject Matter Experts who can translate on-the-ground insights into national impact, alongside WIC agencies ready to serve as our inaugural pilot sites. By joining this initiative, you will play a direct role in strengthening WIC services and supporting the workforce across the country.
Who We are Looking For
Pilot Sites: State and local WIC agencies selected to spearhead the implementation of the "Care and Growth of the WIC Workforce" curriculum. These sites will:
Serve as early adopters and testers of the forthcoming Care and Growth curriculum.
Partner with an external WIC Coach to receive dedicated technical assistance and deployment support.
Actively apply Care and Growth principles to improve internal agency operations.
Provide critical feedback to on the effectiveness of process and training materials.
WIC Coaches: WIC staff who commit a portion of their FTE to mentor Pilot Sites. Coaches will:
Complete a year-long WIC Coaching Institute.
Guide assigned Pilot Sites through the rollout of the Care and Growth curriculum.
Provide tailored technical assistance to help sites develop action plans and achieve specific workforce goals.
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Experts in WIC culture, public health workforce development, and organizational health. SMEs are engaged to:
Create high-impact, capacity-building content for the Care and Growth curriculum.
Spotlight promising strategies for promoting program impact and positive workplace culture.
Provide peer review of content prior to public release.
